Privacy policy

Untime is operated by Duobase Pte. Ltd. (“Duobase”, “we”, “us”). The short version: Untime shows no ads, we never sell your data, and you can erase everything from inside the app at any time. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and, depending on what you share, your name and email address. If you continue without an account, we create an anonymous identifier instead. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication.

App data. The content you create in Untime is stored on our backend so it can be synced and computed into statistics: your goals (name, type, weekly budget, icon, color), your sessions (start and end times), and your settings (such as week start day and time format).

Diagnostics. If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a crash report containing technical details such as the device model, operating system version, and a stack trace. Crash reports are not tied to the content of your goals or sessions.

Subscription status. If you purchase a premium subscription, the Apple App Store or Google Play tells us whether your subscription is active. We never receive your payment card details.

Advertising attribution. We advertise Untime, and we use AppsFlyer to understand which campaigns bring people to the app. When you install or open Untime, AppsFlyer may receive technical data such as your device’s advertising identifier (where you have allowed it), IP address, device model, operating system version, and install and app-open events. This tells us which ad, if any, led you to Untime. It is never linked to the content of your goals or sessions. On iOS, the advertising identifier is only used if you allow tracking when the app asks; on Android, you can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device settings.

2. How we use your information

  • to provide the service by storing and syncing your goals and sessions;
  • to compute your weekly statistics and budget progress;
  • to diagnose and fix crashes and bugs;
  • to manage your premium entitlement;
  • to measure how our advertising campaigns perform and learn which ads bring people to Untime;
  • to respond when you contact us for support.

3. What we don’t do

  • We do not show ads inside the app.
  • We do not sell or rent your personal data.
  • We do not share your data with third parties for their marketing.
  • Beyond the install attribution described above, we do not track your activity across other apps or websites.

4. Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to run the service, each of which processes data only as needed to provide it:

  • Google Firebase for authentication and crash reporting;
  • AppsFlyer for measuring our advertising campaigns and attributing installs;
  • Apple and Google for sign-in and subscription billing through their stores;
  • Cloud hosting providers for running our backend and database.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Inside the app you can erase all data (deleting every goal and session) or delete your account entirely, which also removes your Firebase user. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before being purged. Step-by-step deletion instructions are on our account deletion page.

6. Security

Your data is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is restricted. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard practices.

7. Children

Untime is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

8. International transfers

Our providers may store and process data in countries other than your own. Where they do, we rely on their safeguards and contractual commitments for international data transfers.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, including under Singapore’s PDPA and the EU’s GDPR, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Most of these you can exercise directly in the app; for anything else, email us and we will help.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this website with the date at the top updated, so checking this page is the best way to stay informed of changes.
